Polish-Hungarian flautist and saxophonist Juli Deák unites classical music, contemporary music and jazz through delicate melodic lines and percussive effects. With over 15 years of experience, her expression is deeply rooted in classical tradition, while also embracing experimentation, improvisation and folk musical impulses.

Her artistic work explores the physical and expressive limits of the flute – including circular breathing, breath sounds, and singing while playing – which has led to her current solo project The Breathing Project.
