Musician and artist

Pianist Herborg Rundberg is a Sea Sami musician from Gáivuotna (Kåfjord), now living in Tromsø. She is a composer and pianist with both classical and rhythmic training.

Over the decades she has developed her own style that combines Sea Sami musical traditions with art music, improvisation and jazz. She also plays in the duo LEAGUS with guitarist Kristian Svalestad Olstad, where they move between composition and free improvisation.

She also composes for larger ensembles and orchestras, smaller ensembles, theater and silent film.
