Knut Hamsun's second wife was Marie Andersen (b. 19.11.1881, d. 5.8.1969). Marie and Knut Hamsun married on 25.6.1909. They had four children:
1. Tore Hamsun (b. 6.3.1912, d. 10.1.1995 after a traffic accident in Gran Canaria. Buried at Eide Cemetery, Norway). Painter and author.
Tore's first wife Lisbeth (Ruth Elisabeth) Grung (b. 1916, d. 1998) was a pianist. Divorced 1949. They had three children:
Anne Marie Thurmann-Moe (b. Hamsun, 1940, d. 15.4.2016), married to Jan Thurmann-Moe, no children
Leif Hamsun (b. 28.3.1943). Married to Toril Skrinde Hamsun (b. 17.7.1945). They have one daughter:
Kristine Hamsun (b. 29.4.1982). Married 11 June 2016 to Jon Marius Bremnes (b. 24.5.1982). They have one son: Lyder (b. 20.5.2018).
From his first marriage, Leif Hamsun has two daughters:
Frid Hamsun (b. 2.10.19?). She has two children: August and EmmaCecilie Hamsun (b. 6.10.1969),
lives with Sven Erik Rønningen (b. 17.1.1971). They have one child: Amanda (b. 6.1.2003)
Ingeborg Hamsun (b. 13.2.1947). She has three children:
Elisabeth Løvlie (b. 19.4. 1966)
Victoria Løvlie Bråttum (b. 5.3.1969)
Torkeld Johannes Løvlie (b. 28.12.1967, d. 17.02.1993)
Tore Hamsun married for the second time on 4.8.1953 to Marianne Doris Hamsun (b. in Ferring 7.5.1925), a painter. They had two children:
Torgeir Hamsun (b. 13.7.1955), visual artist. Married to Anne-Christin Hamsun. They have one son:
Joacim Hamsun (b. 7.9.2002)
Regine Christianne Hamsun (b. 25.12.1962), visual artist. Married to Knut Felberg.
2. Arild Hamsun (b. 3.5.1914, d. 16.3.1988). Took over Nørholm from his father Knut Hamsun. Married Brit Hamsun (b. Haffner-Jensen, 1919, d. 19.11.1995). Arild and Britt Hamsun had four children:
Esben Hamsun (b. 2.5.1943, d. 20.1.1964 in an accident)
Victoria Hamsun (b. 21.7.1947). Victoria currently lives in Nørholm.
Iselin Marie Hamsun Rustad (b. 3.1.1949). Married to Ole Rustad. They have one child:

3. Ellinor Hamsun (b. 23.10.1915, d. 27.8.1987 in Gjern, Denmark, buried in Eide cemetery, Norway). Married 22.9.1939 to Richard Schneider-Edenkoben (b. 25.6.1899, d. 23.9.1986 in Nindorf), divorced 3.6.1954. Was admitted to various hospitals in Norway, Denmark and Germany. No children.
4. Cecilia Hamsun (b. 13.5.1917, d. 1985 in Egå, Denmark, where she lived in recent years). Painter as a youth. Married the first time in 1939 to the Danish painter Mogens Herz (b. 1909, d.?), divorced 1943. Married the second time to the Danish writer Hans Andreasen (b. 5.6.1912, d.?). In 1950, she brought her third husband, the psychiatrist Knud Mosegaard, to Nørholm. Her fourth husband was the Danish opera singer Michael Fønss, to whom she was married for the rest of her life.
