Sigurd Stranda (b. 1999) works as a literary scholar at The Hamsun Centre He has his academic background from the University of Tromsø, with a master's degree in reading and interpreting short story cycles.

Is it time for a critical reassessment of Knut Hamsun's short stories? During Hamsundagene, Sigurd leads a seminar where invited guests present their favorite short story by Hamsun, with the aim of highlighting texts that are often overlooked.
