Lars Elling (b. 1966) has exhibited in New York, Berlin and Oslo, and has been purchased by, among others, the National Museum and the Arts Council of Norway.

He made his debut as a novelist with the book The Princes of Finntjern , which garnered great attention both at home and abroad. The book was nominated for the Lytternes Novel Prize and the Library's Literature Prize.
